Mónica Calderón Santiago got a BSc degree in Chemistry at the University of Córdoba (Spain) in June, 2009.

She is a member of the research group since 2008, when she received a scholarship for novel researchers from the University of Córdoba (Programa Propio de la UCO de Iniciación a la Investigación). She finished her PhD degree entitled “Mass Spectrometry for identification and quantitation of metabolomic biomarkers in clinical analysis” in June 2014, and received the Doctorate Award in 2015. Presently, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher on the identification and quantitation of potential metabolomic biomarkers for lung cancer screening.
