M�nica Calder�n Santiago got a BSc degree in Chemistry at the University of C�rdoba (Spain) in June, 2009.

She is a member of the research group since 2008, when she received a scholarship for novel researchers from the University of C�rdoba (Programa Propio de la UCO de Iniciaci�n a la Investigaci�n). She finished her PhD degree entitled �Mass Spectrometry for identification and quantitation of metabolomic biomarkers in clinical analysis� in June 2014, and received the Doctorate Award in 2015. Presently, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher on the identification and quantitation of potential metabolomic biomarkers for lung cancer screening.
