María Dolores Luque de Castro (Lola Luque) is an Emeritus Professor, former Full Professor in charge of the Group.

She is author or co-author of more than 800 papers, has supervised about 50 PhD, is responsible of a number of contracts with industries and organisms, and is also authors or co-author of books, books chapters and patents.
