I obtained my college degree in Biology (2014) and a Master's Degree in Molecular, Cellular and Genetic Biotechnology (2015) in the University of Córdoba (UCO).
In 2016, I joined the Andalusian Center for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine (CABIMER, CSIC) under the supervision of Dr. Félix Prado, to study the physical interaction of MCM helicase with the ribonucleotide reductase (RNR) and other factors involved in its regulation, as well as its role in the response to DNA damage. I was awarded with a competitive PhD Training Fellowship by the Spanish Ministry of Science & Education (FPI), and I defended my PhD Thesis in May 2022.
I continued my work in CABIMER until January 2023, and in February 2023 I joined the Department of Genetic in the University of Córdoba (UCO) under the supervision of Profs. Antonio Di Pietro and Carmen Ruiz Roldán to study the genome dynamics of F. oxysporum during the infection.
