Antonio J. Tinedo Rodríguez currently serves as an Interim Lecturer in the Department of English and German at the University of Córdoba. His role involves teaching courses related to the instrumental use of the English language in various degree programs such as English Studies, Translation and Interpretation Studies, and Spanish Studies. He began his academic journey by completing a degree in Primary Education at the University of Córdoba, followed by a degree in English Studies from the “Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia” (UNED). He then pursued further studies, earning a master's degree in Information and Communication Technologies in Language Teaching (TIC-ETL) from UNED and another master's degree in Specialized Translation from UCO. His research interests cover a range of areas, including Didactic Audiovisual Translation, Applied Linguistics in Language Teaching, Bilingual and Intercultural Education, and Digital Humanities. He had the opportunity to research on his fields of interest through various scholarships and roles, including a collaboration scholarship in university departments and a position as a research technician in the I+D+i project TRADILEX (PID2019-107362GA-I00). This was followed by a UNED-Santander predoctoral scholarship, leading to an FPI-UNED scholarship. He also obtained a UNED-Santander scholarship for the internationalization of PhD candidates, allowing for a three-month academic stay at the Università del Piemonte Orientale (Italy). He is member of the Tradit group at UNED and he also belongs to the PAIDI-SEJ 551 group at the University of Córdoba. In the realm of educational innovation, he is as a member of the GID ARENA at UNED. In 2023, he coordinated the ReachDAT initiative, a small-scale educational project within the Department of Foreign Philologies and Linguistics at UNED.
