Biography
Francisco J. Bellido is Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Córdoba (Spain) since 2001. Received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Cordoba, Spain, in 2007 and 2002. His research focus and expertise area are in Consumer Electronics and Wireless Communications.
He has been General Chair of the 3rd International ICST Conference on IT Revolutions 2011 (Córdoba, Spain), promoted by the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI). He has authored or co-authored several monographs, Hand-book for engineers and students and Scientific Articles covering topis on Consumer Electronics and serves as Reviewer for some not IEEE indexed Journals (MDPI: Sensors).
He is R&D external Auditor for European Quality Assurance Ltd. and he has leaded or participated as researcher in R&D projects or contracted by companies covering subjects related to Consumer Electronics, Smart Grids for CE, Smart Homes, IoT, Wireless Communications or Smart Lighting and managing working groups of up to 12 engineers.
He leads several lectures related to "Communication Systems in Public Infrastructure" regarding to Wireless Communications covering from basic communications principles (OFDM,...) to WPANs applications for Smart Cities.
