Profile, admission requirements and additional training
Access requirements and admission criteria
The Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme is the body responsible for establishing the admissions procedures and criteria. These criteria are in line with current national legislation and regulations governing doctoral programmes at the University of Córdoba.

The Academic Committee of the Sociology, Political Science, and Anthropology Doctoral Programme may grant candidates conditional admission. However, this does not permit enrolment for academic supervision of doctoral studies. Conditional admission may be granted in the following cases:
- Additional academic requirements. When the candidate's qualifications and background indicate the need to complete specific preparatory or bridging courses prior to formally enrolling in the doctoral programme.
- Pending administrative documentation. When the candidate meets the admission requirements must still fulfil certain administrative formalities, such as the legalization of foreign documents, certified translations, or other required documentation.
Failure to meet the requirements by the end of the second enrolment period for doctoral supervision will result in the cancellation of the admission process.
Admission Profile and Additional Academic Requirements
In accordance with the competences to be acquired, the programme title, and the available research lines, the Doctoral Programme in Sociology, Political Science, and Anthropology is primarily intended for candidates who hold the following degrees:
- Bachelor’s degrees in sociology, political science, public administration, and anthropology, as well as in related fields such as social work, social education, labour relations, cultural management, and tourism.
- Asimismo, alumnado que haya cursado titulaciones de Máster relacionadas, en general, con ciencias sociales y educación, intervención social, políticas públicas, investigación social y perspectiva de género.
While the qualifications and training listed above are recommended, they are not mandatory. However, the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee will give preference to applicants who have completed the aforementioned studies.
The doctoral programme is intended for candidates with a strong interest in analysing social issues through a broad and integrated understanding of sociological, political, and anthropological phenomena. Ideal candidates are those who seek to explore the intersections of these disciplines through a comprehensive approach and demonstrate a commitment to developing advanced research skills, intellectual rigor, reflective thinking, and the ability to integrate knowledge. Persistence, motivation, and resilience to overcome the challenges inherent in academic research are essential attributes.
Incoming students should demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with a clear aspiration to advance knowledge and its practical applications with a clear social aim. Their academic and research pursuits should reflect a commitment to knowledge transfer and socially oriented innovation, particularly in the design of public policies.
Upon receipt of the application for admission and following a review of the candidate’s compliance with regulatory requirements, prior academic training, academic record, statement of purpose, and doctoral thesis proposal, the Academic Committee may recommend supplementary training. This training will primarily involve enrolment in courses offered in the official master's programmes at the University of Córdoba for candidates who require it. Any such training requirements will be outlined in the admission decision provided to the candidate.
For the establishment of these training supplements, the points system approved by the University of Córdoba Master's and Doctorate Committee will be taken into account.

Newly admitted students to the doctoral programme may have varying levels of prior training in social research methodologies. Students have not acquired the necessary competences in their previous academic programmes will be required to undertake supplementary training.
For applicants requiring additional preparation, the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee may recommend enrolment in the Expert University Certificate in Research—a specialized qualification offered by the University of Córdoba. This programme includes the following components: Block II (Research Tools, 6 ECTS), Block III (Research Project, 3 ECTS), and Block IV (Research Results and Scientific Evaluation, 7 ECTS), for a total of 16 ECTS credits in methodological and research-focused training. This supplementary training is organized by the University of Córdoba’s Postgraduate Studies Institute (IDEP).

Alternatively, supplementary training may be fulfilled by successfully completing 16 ECTS credits from master-level courses covering methodological and research training content and competences. These courses may be proposed either by the Academic Committee or by the student. If proposed by the student, prior authorization from the Academic Committee is required.

The UCO’s main website provides information about student services that support the integration of doctoral students into both university life and the city.
Additionally, the Doctoral School of the University of Córdoba, or the designated programme coordinators, holds an annual welcome session for all doctoral students following the completion of the academic supervision registration period. Students will be informed about the basic regulations governing the doctoral programme as well as all procedures, contact persons, key deadlines, and use of both the doctoral website and the intranet. The aim is to facilitate students’ integration in the doctoral programme and ensure a clear understanding of its rules and procedures
Enrolment
Doctoral students admitted to the programme must enrol annually and pay the academic supervision fee.
Enrolment shall be completed at the designated administrative office, following the requirements set out in the supplementary regulations and admission and enrolment guidelines approved by the University of Córdoba each academic year.
There are two exceptions to the above requirements:
1. Part-time students: The University of Córdoba allows doctoral studies on a part-time basis. These students follow the same admission rules as full-time students, but their individual circumstances are considered. Their doctoral program duration may be extended as needed.
2. Students with disabilities who require additi9onal educational support. The selection and admission processes shall include measures to ensure equal access and support. The Advisory Services of the University of Córdoba will assess and recommend possible curricular adaptations, pathways, or alternative studies if needed.

Monitoring and Assessment of Doctoral Students
Doctoral student progress shall be monitored both continuously through an activity log and annually through scheduled evaluations.
For continuous monitoring, the University of Córdoba provides an IT platform (SIGMA) where doctoral students must record all compulsory and optional activities that form part of their comprehensive training.
Upon enrolment in the Research Plan, and during each annual evaluation, students must submit a proposal to the academic committee of their doctoral programme. The proposal should outline the activities and objectives planned for the year and be approved by the thesis supervisor(s) and, where applicable, the tutor. For activities not already designated as compulsory by the programme, the proposal must also specify the expected workload and assessment method.
Each time a student completes an activity, it must be logged in SIGMA and validated by the supervisor or tutor as a recognized training activity.
At the end of each academic year, students are required to submit supporting documentation for all completed activities to the Institute of Postgraduate Studies.
To enable doctoral students to present the progress of their Research Plan (methodology, key developments, and significant results), the Academic Committee will appoint one or more monitoring committees annually. Each committee will be composed of three doctoral-level researchers: one external to the programme and two affiliated with research teams within the programme. Subject to the availability of financial resources, an international expert may also be appointed as the external member.
In addition to the documentation submitted by the student, the activity report and evaluations of the tutor and/or supervisor must also be submitted for review.
The Monitoring Committee shall prepare an individual report assessing the work done and the progress made compared to the previous year. During this assessment, the degree of compliance and the evaluations obtained in the formative activities, as well as the aforementioned reports, will be taken into account. Positive evaluation will be an essential requirement to continue on the programme. If the evaluation is negative, which will be duly justified, the doctoral candidate will undergo a new evaluation within six months, for which they will develop a new Research Plan. If the second evaluation is also negative, the student will be permanently withdrawn from the programme.
Each year, the Academic Committee will submit the monitoring results to the Postgraduate Studies Institute by the deadline set by the Master’s and Doctorate Committee. If significant changes have been made to the doctoral work plan during the academic year, the student must inform the Academic Committee, with prior approval from their supervisor. The Committee will review the changes and issue a decision within 20 days.
Thesis submission and defence
The submission and defence of the thesis will be performed in accordance with the regulations governing doctoral studies at the UCO, following the procedure described in the following link.
Internationalization
The University of Córdoba offers various grants aimed at supporting the internationalization of doctoral studies. These are primarily available through calls for international stays to obtain the International Mention and pursue a co-tutelle thesis in collaboration with foreign universities. Details of these calls can be found in the Doctorate Calls/Resolutions Section.
The human resources team supporting the programme include 17 members of the initial teaching staff (6 from the University of Córdoba and 11 from the CSIC Institute of Advanced Social Studies). The rest (7) are from various foreign universities.

Students in the Sociology, Political Science, and Anthropology Doctoral Programme shall undertake their research at the University of Córdoba, where the necessary material resources and services are available for them to successfully conduct their work.
More information about the material resources of the research teams can be found on their respective websites.
Doctoral students shall have access to the various resources available in the departments and, in general, the Faculty of Science and the campus, such as departmental libraries, conventional classrooms and interactive classrooms equipped with computers, digital whiteboards, Wi-Fi connection to the UCO website, and the virtual teaching platform, among others

Desde la The Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI) supports doctoral students and programmes by:
- Providing information on university-industry collaboration and opportunities for doctoral students to engage with the productive and business fabric.
- Offering guidance on the protection and exploitation of research results.
- Promoting an entrepreneurial spirit and supporting the creation of technology-based startups.
- Compiling and disseminating key innovative research results from the UCO and publicizing transfer-related activities.
- Participating in official master’s degree programmes as well as in training courses, seminars, and specialized workshops
Doctoral students have access to all the UCO libraries. However, due to its proximity to the laboratories where most research is conducted, the Maimónides library on Rabanales Campus is the most frequently used. The available resources can be consulted on the library website.
Doctoral students can also take advantage of the wide range of sports facilities available at the UCO. These services are open to the entire university community as well as to the general public. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Technical Unit can provide rapid assistance to assess failures, improvements, or issues raised, to then proceed with their execution. Its functions and the services the Technical Unit provides can be found on its website, website.
The waste generated during research carried out by the doctoral students is managed through the Environmental Prevention and Protection Service whose main objective is the promotion and coordination of activities aimed at protecting the safety and health of workers, defending the environment, and preserving UCO’s natural resources.
Rabanales Campus offers additional services such as banks, ATMs, employment information offices, printing and photocopy services, cafeterias, a photography classroom, and university residence hall, among others.
All the facilities on the Rabanales Campus (classrooms, laboratories, library, cafeterias, services, etc.) are accessible for people with disabilities.

Where can I apply for admission to the Doctoral Programme in Social and Legal Sciences?
You can apply for admission at the University of Córdoba website: http://www.uco.es/idep/doctorado
When should I apply for admission to the programme?
Within the deadline established by the Doctoral School, usually between September and October and, in some cases, between January and February. Regardless of the enrolment period, registration remains valid until the following September or October.
What are the basic requirements for admission to the doctoral programme?
To be admitted to the doctoral programme, applicants must hold an official research-oriented master's degree that is aligned with the programme’s research lines.
Can I be admitted to the programme if I have not completed an official research-oriented master's programme?
If you hold a different master’s degree, you may still be admitted to the programme provided you complete additional training as determined by the Academic Committee.
What additional training is required if I do not hold a research-oriented master's degree?
The number of required credits varies depending on the university. Typically, these credits must be obtained through official research master’s programmes and include methodological courses, content-specific courses, and a research dissertation, all aligned with the selected research track.
Who is responsible for approving or rejecting my programme application?
Once you submit your application to the Doctoral School, it will be reviewed by the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee (DPAC), which is responsible for admissions decisions. If your application is approved by the DPAC, you may proceed with enrolment following the procedures established by the Doctoral School.
Do I need to have a thesis supervisor when applying to the programme?
Not necessarily. However, you must have an assigned academic tutor at the time of admission, who may or may not later serve as your thesis supervisor.
I would like a faculty member who is not listed among the programme’s academic staff to supervise my thesis. Is that possible?
Yes, but they cannot act as your sole supervisor. A faculty member from the programme must be appointed as a co-supervisor.
What is a co-tutelle? Is it the same as co-supervision?
Not exactly. While co-supervision involves multiple supervisors—usually within the same or affiliated institutions—a co-tutelle refers to a formal agreement between two universities, typically in different countries. In a co-tutelle arrangement, the doctoral candidate is jointly supervised by faculty from both institutions and, upon successful completion, is awarded a doctoral degree by each. The student is also required to spend a minimum of six months at each university, either continuously or in two separate periods, during their doctoral training.
How can I request a co-tutelle?
Approval of a co-tutelle arrangement is subject to the regulations of the participating doctoral schools and requires the signing of a formal agreement between the two participating universities. To initiate the process, you must contact the Doctoral School directly."
How long do I have to complete my doctoral thesis?
It depends on the mode of study you choose. For full-time enrolment, the expected length is between 3 and 5 years. For part-time students, it ranges from 5 to 8 years.
Is it necessary to submit my doctoral thesis project or Research Plan when applying for admission to the programme?
No, the Research Plan is not required at the time of application; it must be submitted by the end of the first year of doctoral studies.
What is the Research Plan?
The Research Plan is a formal report that must be completed using the designated template. It is important to complete all the sections, as the information provided will be used to monitor your annual progress and evaluate compliance with the programme’s requirements.
What should I include in my Research Plan?
Your Research Plan should include the following elements:
1) Hypothesis: A brief description of the research subject or corpus and what you aim to demonstrate.
2) Background: A summary of the research context, including relevant lines of inquiry and existing work your study builds upon.
3) Objectives (or ‘research questions’): Clearly defined, specific, and verifiable aims—ideally no more than three or four. Avoid using general terms such as study or analyse, as these refer to methods, not objectives.
4) Methodology: A detailed explanation of your methodological approach, ideally referencing a relevant publication by your supervisor, along with the critical or theoretical framework guiding your research.
Besides the Research Plan, is there anything else I should do by the end of the first year?
Yes, you must also submit the signed Doctoral Commitment form using the model provided by the Doctoral School, along with your Training Plan.
What is the Training Plan?
The Training Plan consists of a series of academic activities designed to support your development as a researcher. The plan must include attendance to two methodological workshops focused on acquiring essential instrumental skills; a course or seminar related to your thesis topic; two presentations at conferences or scientific meetings; the preparation of an article for a scientific journal; and an international stay or experience. These activities represent the minimum requirements and should be clearly outlined in the research Training Plan, specifying the years in which each activity is scheduled to take place.
Is the Training Plan the same for all students in the programme?
No, each Training Plan is tailored according to the individual Research Plan. However, certain activities—such as the doctoral seminars offered annually at each campus—are generic and appropriate for all doctoral students in the programme.
How do I develop my Training Plan? You should work with your supervisor to design a Training Plan that it is tailored to your specific methodological, scientific, and skill-development needs to ensure your successful progress as a doctoral student.
How can I choose the activities for my Training Plan?
Each year, the DPAC approves a list of activities, which you can find on the Doctorate Programme website. These activities are held across various campuses and are organized by different research groups. You may also select additional activities offered by other academic bodies, provided they meet the minimum requirements for recognition.
What should I do to have an activity organized by another entity recognized?
You must submit a request for recognition to the DPAC. The request should include the detailed description of the activity (contents, teaching staff, and duration), along with a report endorsed by your supervisor confirming the activity’s relevance to the development of your thesis. You can request recognition before or after completing the activity.
Can I request recognition for activities completed before enrolling in the Doctoral Programme?
If you transferred from another doctoral programme or one governed by regulations prior to 2011, you may request that the DPAC validate your completed courses and recognize any relevant activities.
Does the Doctorate Programme include all the activities I need to complete my research Training Plan?
Not necessarily. For at least three key components—publishing an article in a scientific journal, presenting a paper at a conference, and gaining international experience—you may need to seek external opportunities or choose to pursue them independently.
What happens after the first year? Will my Training Plan and my Research Plan be monitored?
Yes. From the second year onward, you must submit a progress report on both your plans. The report should detail your level of compliance with the plans submitted in the first year, explain any obstacles that have prevented full completion of the planned activities, and outline your plans for continued progress in the coming years.
Where should I submit the Training Plan and Research Plan reports?
Each doctoral school establishes the format and procedures for the committee responsible for monitoring and evaluating the Training Plans and the Research Plans. Submissions must include 1) the doctoral student’s report, 2) the supervisor’s report, and 3) supporting documentation of the completed activities.
What happens if I don't comply with the plan?
Each Doctoral School issues two calls per year. If you apply in the first call and do not receive a favourable report, you may apply again in the second call. However, if the second evaluation is also unfavourable, you will be excluded from the programme. If there are justified reasons for not meeting the requirements, you may request a deferral before the second call.
How does the Training Plan affect the submission of the doctoral thesis?
You must complete all the activities specified in your Training Plan to be eligible to submit your doctoral thesis..
Is theTraining Plan different if I want to apply for the International Mention?
To apply for the International Mention, you must complete a research stay of at least three months at a research institution outside of Spain..
Is it advisable to pursue the International Mention?
Yes. It adds value to your thesis, as the contribution of your research will be supported by experts from other countries.
Are there any additional requirements for obtaining the International Mention apart from a research stay abroad?
Yes. Before submitting your thesis, you must not only provide proof of your international research stay but also obtain favourable reports from at least two experts affiliated with foreign institutions. Additionally, the thesis committee must include a member from a non-Spanish scientific institution. The thesis must also be written and defended—either partially or entirely—in a foreign language.
I am enrolled part-time in the Doctoral Programme because I am working. So, how can I spend three months at a research centre abroad?
For students enrolled part-time, the stay can be completed in three periods of one month each, as long as they add up to three months in total.

El miércoles de la semana próxima (21 de mayo) a las 12:30, Ana Toledo (científica titular del IESA-CSIC) protagonizará un seminario titulado "Violencia institucional y esperanza en el Sistema Sanitario?; el evento tendrá lugar en el Salón de Actos del IESA.
Resumen:
Esta presentación aborda la violencia institucional en el Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS), entendida como el conjunto de actitudes, prejuicios o acciones que, bajo la legitimidad institucional, vulneran derechos, reproducen desigualdades y causan daño físico, psicológico o simbólico a las personas usuarias. A pesar de operar dentro de un sistema sanitario que protege la salud con su cobertura casi universal, amplios servicios y una de las esperanzas de vida más altas de Europa, existen múltiples espacios donde se manifiestan violencias normalizadas como en la atención a la salud mental o en el parto. Estas violencias incluyen desde la denegación del acceso hasta prácticas no consentidas, medicalización excesiva, o internamientos involuntarios, y suelen estar sostenidas por prejuicios, protocolos obsoletos y desequilibrios de poder. Sin embargo, también se construyen espacios de esperanza como iniciativas legales o protocolos no coercitivos. Espacios de atención y cuidado no violento que se articulan gracias a alianzas o críticas de movimientos sociales y activistas, profesionales sanitarios y grupos científicos que trabajan por una atención más justa, respetuosa y basada en derechos.
Biografía:
Licenciada en Sociología, Doctora en Antropología Social y Máster en Salud pública. Trabajo en el ámbito de las dimensiones sociales de la salud. He trabajado los últimos años en integrar la participación de los pacientes y las investigaciones sociales a la toma de decisiones en la atención médica y en las decisiones públicas sobre servicios sanitarios a través de la ETS. Además de investigaciones, docencia y trabajo como consultora experta hago proyectos aplicados para la creación participativa de servicios en salud centrados en las personas como cursos, comunidades de práctica o información adaptada para grupos de pacientes específicos.

Proyectos de investigación y Grupos PAIDI
Estimados/as doctorandos/as y directores/as
Desde el Programa de Doctorado en Sociología, Ciencias Políticas y Antropología os queremos transmitir el interés de que propiciéis que vuestros doctorandos y doctorandas se vinculen en el desarrollo de su tesis doctoral a vuestro trabajo de investigación de dos formas muy concretas:
- La primera es participando, en la medida de lo posible, en vuestros proyectos de investigación. Esta participación puede tener lugar como miembro del equipo investigador o del equipo de trabajo, o bien de forma voluntaria, y acreditarse de muy diferente manera.
- La segunda es adscribiéndose al Grupo de Investigación PAIDI en calidad de estudiantes de doctorado. Lo cual puede hacerse efectivo mediante la incorporación del responsable del grupo en la aplicación del SICA del PAIDI.
Ambas actividades, además de contribuir a formar al personal investigador doctoral, puede igualmente añadirse como actividad formativa en el Plan de Investigación y/o formación de doctorado que, como bien sabéis, debe cumplimentarse y remitirse antes del 15 de mayo, como entiendo que se os habrá comunicado.

Petición Colaboración: XIII Congreso Científico de Personal Investigador en Formación
Estimados/as directores/as, tutores/as y doctorandos/as,
Desde las Escuelas de doctorado de la Universidad de Córdoba hemos lanzado la información del XIII Congreso científico de Personal Investigador en Formación. Esta es una actividad de formación con muy buena acogida y participación por parte del estudiantado de doctorado y del PDI. El congreso se realizará en formato híbrido en un solo día (18 de junio 2025). El envío de comunicaciones está abierto hasta el próximo 21 de abril de 2025. Por favor, os agradecemos que le deis la máxima difusión en vuestros programas. Tenéis toda la información del congreso en:
XIII Congreso Científico de Personal Investigador en Formación
Para realización del congreso necesitamos formar el Comité organizador y el Comité técnico. Hemos pensado en contar con vuestra propuesta para ambos comités, para que podáis proponer PDI y estudiantado para que participe. En aquellos programas que colaboráis con instituciones de investigación (IAS, IFAPA, IESA, IMIBIC, entre otras) sería interesante que también facilitéis la participación de su personal investigador en esta actividad.
- Para el Comité organizador os solicitamos:
1 estudiante de posgrado que nos ayude en la organización del evento y la gestión de las comunicaciones (es preferible que esté próximo a la defensa y que no participe en el congreso en esta edición). Estas personas serán incluidas en los libros de actas y se le emitirá un certificado.
1 PDI para participar en moderar la sala y el debate en cada sesión de trabajo.
- Para el Comité técnico os solicitamos:
Al menos 3 PDI para realizar la revisión de las comunicaciones (4-6 pag) y emitir una revisión. La idea es que no revisen más de 10 trabajos, para revisar en 20 días. Pero en algunas ramas o programas, es posible que tengamos que aumentar/reducir el número de revisores según la cantidad de comunicaciones recibidas.

Estimados/as compañeros/as,
Os envío información sobre la publicación de la Convocatoria del Plan Propio de Cooperación. Estas becas de movilidad internacional son una oportunidad única para que estudiantes de la UCO puedan participar en proyectos de cooperación al desarrollo (se cubren los gastos de desplazamiento y estancia de 2 a 6 meses).
El primer llamamiento estará abierto hasta el 15 de abril, y es compatible con otras ayudas como la de Incentivos para la realización de TFG en línea con la Agenda 2030.

Seminario IESA-CSIC

El jueves 13/03 (12:30-14:00) se celebrará en el IESA un seminario sobre el Panel GESIS, un panel probabilístico para encuestas que lleva funcionando más de diez años en Alemania. La presentación (en inglés) correrá a cargo de Steffen Pötzschke, uno de sus responsables; en el posterior turno de debate, se admitirán preguntas en español.
Al seminario también se podrá asistir en modalidad virtual, para lo que se ruega en todo momento que se mantenga durante la conferencia los micrófonos y las cámaras apagadas. No obstante, podrán abrirlo para efectuar preguntas al finalizar la conferencia.

Como sabéis, durante el primer curso académico del Programa de Doctorado el alumnado debe realizar su plan de investigación.
En el siguiente enlace de la página web del IDEP-UCO, está explicado cómo se realiza la inscripción del "PLAN DE INVESTIGACIÓN" y los documentos que tienen que presentar los alumnos de Doctorado próximamente:

El Instituto de las Mujeres y el Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado, lanzan una nueva edición del MOOC ?EDUCACION PARA LA IGUALDAD?
Este MOOC va dirigido al público en general, un perfil amplio de personas que tenga interés en educar en igualdad, y más específicamente a docentes o personas de la comunidad educativa que ejerzan o estén relacionadas con la práctica educativa.
El plazo de inscripción ya está abierto. El curso comenzará el día 25 de febrero y estará en abierto hasta el 3 de abril de 2025.
El MOOC mantiene abierto el plazo de inscripción durante todo el periodo de duración del curso.
Las inscripciones son totalmente gratuitas y están abiertas a cualquier persona interesada, independientemente de su ubicación geográfica y perfil profesional.

Programa de doctorado: beneficios y servicios universitarios
Queridos/as directores/as Externos/as y doctorandos/as
Os escribo para informar sobre los beneficios y servicios de los que podéis disfrutar al estar vinculados a la Universidad de Córdoba, como directores/as en el programa de doctorado de Sociología, Ciencias Políticas y Antropología:
1. Solicitud de cuenta de correo electrónico.
Podéis solicitar una cuenta de correo electrónico de la Universidad de Córdoba, con la cual comunicarse como directores de tesis doctoral y acceder a múltiples servicios de la Universidad (Moodle, Universia XXI,Webex, etc.).
2. Solicitud de tarjeta bibliotecaria
Como directores de tesis, podréis solicitar la credencial universitaria con la que acceder a préstamos bibliotecarios en todas las Facultades de la Universidad. También se podrá solicitar la adquisición de libros para la biblioteca. El fondo bibliotecario de la Universidad es de 1 millón de monografías, 11.074 revistas periódicas en papel y 40.704 publicaciones periódicas digitales de pago. Servicios biblioteca
3. Formación gratuita en el programa de formación de PDI
A lo largo del año, se ofertan más de cien cursos de formación permanente, incluyendo cursos de idiomas. Podéis ver la oferta presente y futura aquí: Catálogo de cursos de formación permanente
La oferta se va actualizando progresivamente.
Muchos de los cursos son on-line.
4. Reserva y uso de espacios comunes de la Universidad.
También es posible reservar espacios como salones de actos, aulas, etc. para celebrar actividades relacionadas con la formación en postgrado.
5. Servicios Deportivos de la UCO.
Igualmente, es posible subscribirse a la oferta deportiva de la UCO a un precio muy económico.
6. Oferta de cursos de formación de postgrado.
Si deseáis realizar cursos de formación de postgrado dirigida a estudiantes de este programa de doctorado y otros estudiantes de postgrado, podéis realizar la propuesta y solicitar su reconocimiento acreditado por parte de la Comisión de Postgrado de la Universidad; reconocimiento y certificación tanto para los estudiantes como para el profesorado. La formación será retribuida conforme a las tarifas establecidas por la Universidad.
7. UCOIDIOMAS
También se podrá disfrutar de un ventajoso descuento en los servicios de idiomas de la Universidad, tanto para recibir formación como para solicitar traducciones de artículos.

Convocatoria beca FPU 2024: instrucciones a coordinadores/as programas de doctorado

Buenos días,
Se ha publicado la convocatoria de Becas FPU-2024, cuyo plazo de presentación en la web del Ministerio será del 17 de enero al *14 de febrero* de 2025.
Para poder facilitarles a los solicitantes los documentos que debe firmar la CAPD, se han publicado unas instrucciones que se pueden consultar en: doctorado/novedades
Por nuestra parte, obraremos igual que el año pasado, que paso a recordar:
la CAPD *solo debe firmar 2 documentos* por solicitante, que son los que adjunto en este correo:
1-EVALUACIÓN DE LA MEMORIA DEL PROYECTO FORMATIVO Y DE LA TESIS DOCTORAL
2-EVALUACIÓN DEL CURRÍCULUM VÍTAE DEL DIRECTOR/A DE LA TESIS DOCTORAL
Para facilitar y agilizar la firma, los subiremos por e-CO al portafirmas (algún envío dio problemas el año pasado porque eran muchos documentos, por lo que el programa que lleve muchos solicitantes, se subirán en dos o tres partes).
Para no firmar 'a ciegas' el documento de Evaluación de la memoria del proyecto formativo y de la tesis doctoral, a los estudiantes les pedimos tambien el proyecto, con más detalle, en word. Eso os lo enviaremos por correo electrónico previamente para que tengáis la información y cuando se os envién a la firma los documentos (*6 de febrero*) se puedan firmar lo antes posible, ya que dispondremos de poco tiempo para descargarlos y enviarlos, uno por uno, a cada solicitante (el año pasado fueron *103*). Por favor, apuntad esta última fecha en la agenda por si alguien estuviera de viaje o tuviera algún compromiso que le impidiera acceder a porta-firmas para la firma.
*Nota importante:* la firma en portafirmas agiliza el proceso y os resultará más cómodo (no tenéis que firmar los documentos uno a uno con Adobe o similar), pero no se pueden modificar una vez subidos. Por ello todos irán con el check marcado en FAVORABLE. Si alguien considera que que los impresos de alguna persona determinada no deben firmarse,*me lo indican expresamente* para volver a enviarles nuevos impresos con el campo "No autoriza" marcado en el impreso de esa persona determinada, dado que el envío que le haremos al portafirmas no permite firmar o rechazar de forma individual documentos (solo firmar todos o rechazarlos todos).

Publicada Convocatoria FPU-2024
Estimados/as doctorandos/as y directores/as
En el BOE de 4 de enero de 2025 se ha publicado el Extracto de la Orden de 30 de diciembre de 2024 por la que se aprueba por tramitación anticipada la convocatoria de ayudas para la formación de profesorado universitario correspondiente al año 2024, en el marco del Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación (PEICTI) 2021-2023. Adjunto el pdf.
El plazo de presentación de solicitudes será desde el 17 de enero hasta el 14 de febrero de 2025 a las 14.00 horas (horario peninsular) ambos inclusive.
Entre la documentación que las personas candidatas deben presentar con la solicitud, hay dos certificados que deben ser emitidos por la Comisión Académica del Programa de Doctorado de la universidad en la que se haya matriculado, o tenga previsto matricularse la persona solicitante:
a) Evaluación del Currículum vítae del director/a de la tesis doctoral.
b) Evaluación de la Memoria del proyecto formativo y de la tesis doctoral
La persona candidata deberá solicitar estos 2 certificados a la Comisión Académica del Programa de Doctorado en el que se haya matriculado, o tenga previsto matricularse, entre el 3 y el 12 de febrero.
Los modelos de los documentos que deben utilizarse se publicarán próximamente en la página web del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.
